She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with families across generations. Kathy is committed to lifelong learning and stays current with the latest advances in healthcare to provide evidence-based, personalized care for every patient.

Beyond the clinic, Kathy has dedicated her career to serving both the healthcare profession and her community. She has held numerous nursing leadership positions and has been actively involved with organizations that support children and families. She believes exceptional healthcare extends beyond the exam room and takes pride in making a positive impact throughout the communities she serves.

Kathy and her husband, Brad, have two adult children, Braden and Blaire. Braden works at Duke Energy in sub-station maintenance. He and his wife Lisa and their two children live in Lawrence County. Blaire is the Environmental Compliance & Safety Services Coordinator at Vincennes University. She and her husband John Gilomen live Lawrence County with their two children.

Kathy enjoy spending time with family, traveling, exploring new places, and riding four-wheelers through the woods. She considers it a privilege to care for the families of Monroe City and the surrounding communities and is proud to be part of the Thompson Family Clinic team.
